In the world of rare diseases, awareness no matter how big or small makes a HUGE difference.
Rare Disease UK held the 1st Rare Film Festival to raise awareness of Rare Diseases on the 10th February 2020.
Over 50 films were submitted to take part in the event and the film ‘Living with Alstrom Syndrome’ was chosen as one of the films to be showcased on the night and one of the finalists at the awards ceremony.
Unfortunately we didn’t win on the night, but there is still a chance to win the ‘People’s Choice Award’.
You have until midday on the 28th February 2020 to vote for your favourite film so get voting today!

Rare Disease UK will announce the winner through their social media channels on Rare Disease Day – 29 February 2020.
We may not have won at the Rare Film Festival, but this was a great opportunity to raise awareness and celebrate the Alstrom community, you are the winners!!
